Counselling


  • What is Counselling?

    • Counselling is talking therapy. The Counsellor creates a safe space for you to feel comfortable to share.
    • Sessions help you understand and manage issues and provide you with useful tools to use in your daily life.
    • Counselling helps you understand yourself, others and the world around you.
    • Counselling is Confidential.
  • What is the process?

    • I offer an initial session where we will get to know each other a little bit, this will involve some questions and information sharing in order ascertain what you would like to get out of our counselling sessions.
    • We then contract and agree to work towards outcomes. This is usually in weekly sessions on the same agreed day and time.
    • We review how sessions are going for you throughout the process.
    • When we are nearing ending our sessions, this is discussed and our work acknowledged.
    • Feedback is welcomed.
  • How long is Counselling?

    • Lovelocks Counselling offers 50-minute sessions (online).
    • I suggest having a minimum of 10 sessions but we can work together for as long as is beneficial to you.
  • How much is Counselling?

    • Lovelocks Counselling offers online counselling for £50 a session.
    • If you are paying in advance, you can commit to booking 10 x sessions at a rate of £45 a session.
    • Limited concessions will be considered.
